What a classic production! Good selections, good singing and tremendous music. Ronnie Hite |
Your new CD is wonderful and all
20 cuts will be a part of my "Swingin' West" radio shows for sure.Mike Gross |
I've
been enjoying Rick Alexander's Songs from
the Old Country. Like the title says, there's plenty of the traditonal
country music that I have always loved. I especially enjoy Rick's
version of The Wayward Wind and Get Rhythm. Nice going, Rick. I can
tell that the CD is a labor of love. Chuck Lettes |
Just got mine,
too...Great CD! Rick does it all...plays the instruments and sings. And it was especially nice to hear steel guitar on some songs that didn't have it in the original recordings. Rick's new CD inspires lots of toe tapping and singing along. So be ready for it to put you in a good mood!!! Jeff Strouse |
All
I can say is "IT's fabulous"! The wife and I have been enjoying it all evening. Turned the TV off, for once, and pleasured our ears with some really great music. I didn't realize Rick had such a great singing voice. We've got to have more of this! Being purely selfish now, I think his rythmn guitar playing is some of the best I've heard. A nice strong accompaniment that any steel player should crave! Good Luck to you Rick, on the CD's success...... Ray Montee |
This
CD is awesome Got it today and the wife and I listen to it twice and it's going the 3rd time now I love Get Rhythm Danny Hammers |
Got
this CD for Christmas this year. I dropped it into iTunes and it is all
I have listened to since. Rick has done a great job recording this CD. There are 20 songs on it and every instrument was played by Rick himself. Gary Boyett |
| Rick.....
you succeeded in recreating the sound
of yesteryear that brings back so many great memories. There was one tune in particular in which you played
some very interesting things which resembled the use of pedals. I would
guess you were pulling strings with your left hand. Your intonation
when doing so was also exceptional.
Congratulations
on a job well doneMaurice Anderson |

talkin' about ! Bobbe Seymour |
